Tablets for Dogs

Heartworm and Intestinal Worm Control
Active Ingredients: abamectin,
praziquantel, oxibendazole
A
palatable tablet given once every SIX weeks for the control of heartworm and
intestinal worms. Presented in a pack of FOUR tablets. Not for use in pregnant dogs (safety trials currently underway).
Can be used in pups from 6 weeks of age then repeated every 6 weeks.

on heartworm prevention before}

the control of

Roundworm
(immature & adult) – causes diarrhoea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In
younger dogs it can stunt growth and give them a “pot belly” appearance.
As round can be transmitted to puppies soon after they are born, treatment
can commence as young as 2 weeks of age.
Roundworm can cause disease in humans

Hookworm – causes bloody
diarrhoea, anaemia & in some cases death;
damage the wall of the intestines causing them to bleed internally
leading to black faeces. Larvae and be swallowed or simply migrate through
the skin. Roundworm can cause disease in

Tapeworm – The Common Flea Tapeworm,
Dipylidium develops in the dogs intestine and can be up to 50cm long.
Segments of the tapeworm may sometime be seen in the faeces or around the
anus area. While not a major health risk, Dipylidium can cause
itching around the dogs hind end leading to scooting and/or anal
gland problems. Hydatid Tapeworms, Echinococcus granulosa,
are more serious. They are found in areas where dogs and sheep are in
contact and pose a serious health threat to humans.
