Mode of Action
Virbac Enzymatic Chews for cats combine a mechanical polishing action with a chemical antibacterial action.
The coarse texture of the uniquely processed freeze dried fish cleans the teeth by helping remove plaque and food debris.
The Complete Enzymatic Thiocyanate Dual Enzyme system enhances and activates the natural
defence mechanisms of the mouth by supplying key enzymes and substrates. The two primary ingredients of the Complete Enzymatic Thiocyanate Dual Enzyme system (glucose oxidase and
lactoperoxidase) combine with their substrates to produce the hypothiocyanite ion. This same ion is produced naturally in saliva where it helps inhibit the growth and acid production of plaque forming bacteria.

Directions for Use
