Glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) form the major building blocks of cartilage and the lubricating fluid within joints. When arthritis strikes, the cartilage becomes damaged and the joint fluids is not as affective in lubricating, leading to stiffness, pain and hence limping and a reluctance to play as usual.
Supplementing with GAGs can help relive arthritic symptoms in dogs.
GLYDE contains three separate biological compounds:
Glucosamine Hydrochloride (190mg/g) - a precursor to the production of Glycosaminoglycans (GAGs)
Chondroitin Sulfate (95mg/g) - is one of the main GAGs. The chondroitin in GLYDE come from socially responsible sources (i.e. bovine origin, not from sharks)
Green Lipped Muscle Powder (253mg/g) - a source of GAGs and Omega-3 fatty acids.
Long term treatment with GLYDE may help reduce non-infectious inflammation and arthritic symptoms in dogs. It is suitable for use in active or ageing dogs.
Once on the maintenance dose, a 360g tub will last a 20kg dog approximately 120 days.
